How to play First Touch
One player, one career, one real week per round. Everything you do during the week decides how fast you grow — and whether the coach picks you on Saturday.
The weekly loop
- Club training follows your coach's philosophy and the position you play, so where you line up shapes what you improve.
- Two personal sessions are yours to choose. Pick two different attributes, or double down on one for a faster push.
- Match day is Saturday. Cup nights are Wednesdays. Minutes on the pitch turn into experience and match training.
At most three skill levels can move in a single week: one from the club and match, two from your own work.
Starting out
You begin as a 16-year-old amateur with every attribute at 1 out of 20. You choose a nationality, a speciality, a birthplace and three starting skill points (max level 2 in any one attribute). Then you pick between three Division 6 clubs in your country — or search for the club your friends already play for. That first club becomes your home club, and it stays in your profile forever.
Getting picked
The AI coach rates every player in the squad for every position and fields the strongest eleven. Stay in that eleven and you play; drop out of it and your development slows down. Lower divisions cap human squads at eleven so everyone starts, higher divisions allow bigger squads — so choose your club with playing time in mind.
Climbing the ladder
Leagues run from Division 6 up to Division 1 in every country, with promotion and relegation each season. Training runs slightly faster the higher you play, so pushing upwards is how you become the best. On top of that come the national cup, the First Touch Cup for the world's best clubs, and a yearly World Cup for the 22 best players in each nation.
Money and staff
You earn a weekly wage plus bonuses for appearances, goals, assists and clean sheets. That money hires an agent, a personal trainer and a financial advisor, each upgradable from level 1 to 10.
Questions players ask
How do you play First Touch?
You create one footballer, join a club, and live one real week per game round. Club training, your own two extra sessions and the Saturday match all feed into your attributes. Over seasons you climb from Division 6 towards Division 1, the national team and the World Cup.
Is First Touch free?
Yes. A free account lets you create one player and play the full career. Premium adds a second player in another country.
How long is a season?
One season lasts 26 rounds — one round per real week. Your player turns one year older every season, and young players develop much faster than veterans.
Can I play with friends?
Yes. Beside the three random Division 6 trials you can search for any club by name and apply there, so you can build a squad with friends.
How do transfers work?
You can list yourself as available and get scouted on Sundays, or apply to one club per day. The club reviews your application for a few hours and answers with a contract offer or a rejection.
